Irish Ferries were to the forefront once again in helping
Adi Roche and her team to celebrate the 20th Anniversary
of the Chernobyl Children¹s Appeal by providing
transport for a large convoy of trucks which travelled
from Midleton to Chernobyl recently.
Travelling as guests of Irish Ferries on the Rosslare
- Pembroke route, the convoy consisted of medicines and
other essential commodities as well as ambulances and
other vital supplies.
Picture shows the scene at Midleton prior to departure.
Since its inception, Irish Ferries has been a staunch
supplier of free transport to the famed Cork charity.
