As the exodus of fans leaving to support Munster in Saturday’s Heineken Cup Final in Cardiff gets underway, Irish Ferries announce that they will carry some 10,000 fans on their services from Rosslare - Pembroke and from Dublin - Holyhead over the next two days.

While the full-up sign has been posted on some sailings, the company’s sales manager Declan Mescall reports that space is still available for those whose travel plans are flexible.

To create a festive atmosphere appropriate to the occasion, vessels are being decorated in Munster colours.
