Irish Ferries
Brings Family Fun To Ferry Travel

Irish Ferries is going all out to keep children entertained on their busy Dublin/Holyhead route this summer.

Joining the crew on board Ulysses and Dublin Swift are children's entertainers whose task it will be to keep young passengers entertained with balloon modelling, face painting and general clowning around

Described as an initiative intended to free parents of the cry 'are we nearly there?’, this new element adds to the facilities provided onboard for the entertainment of younger passengers such as designated children's play areas with soft-play equipment and mini-cinemas showing cartoons and films.

Commenting, Irish Ferries Head of Passenger Sales Declan Mescall said ‘with the benefits of short check-in times, no baggage restrictions and a 'sit where you like' policy, parents choosing to travel by ferry can kick-back, relax and enjoy 'grown up' facilities such as comfortable lounges, bars and restaurants, plus on-board cinemas and shops. In that way, modern ferry travel can be a most enjoyable part of the whole holiday experience’.

Prices start from as little as €174 for a midweek crossing in July for car, two adults and two children and can be booked on-line
