Special deals on self-catering and hotel breaks in Ireland throughout the autumn and over the October half-term week are on offer from Irish Ferries Holidays.
On self-catering breaks, holiday prices are based on two adults sharing, with children travelling and staying free of charge.
For example, at the four-star Glenbeg Point Cottages in Co Wexford - a short drive from the port of Rosslare and five minutes’ walk from the beach - a five-night stay in September/October is a total of £281 - that’s for two adults and up to three children with return Pembroke/Rosslare cruise ferry for car and passengers.
There’s also a special offer on three-night breaks at the four-star Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel in Killiney, Co Dublin. In September/October two adults will pay a total of £382 (saving £102), while a family of two adults and two children will pay just £434 (saving £150) for accommodation with breakfast and return crossing for car and passengers from Holyhead to Dublin on the world’s biggest cruise ferry, Ulysses.
Facilities at the hotel include indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym and a children’s crèche, plus bar, grill and restaurant. The hotel overlooks Dublin Bay and is 20 minutes from Dublin city centre.
