Rugby fans travelling to support Ireland in their forthcoming World Cup Game against France in Paris can get there for fares that are well over three times lower than air travel, according to figures released by Irish Ferries.
Travelling by car, a group of four can sail from Ireland to France from EUR450 return with cabin berths included, a figure which Irish Ferries Head of Passenger Sales Declan Mescall says is in stark contrast to the EUR1,700 and more that the same group could pay when travelling by air from Dublin to Paris [CDG].
