Irish Ferries promotes Scarefest halloween attraction

Parents looking for something to entertain their children at over Halloween could find what they need at the Staffordshire resort of Alton Towers where the annual Scarefest event runs from mid-October until early November.

As its name suggests, Scarefest is a white knuckle experience with live zombies rides and other aptly-named attractions such as Terror of the Towers, Boiler House and Field of 1000 Screams, graded to suit every age category, adults included.

Irish Ferries Holidays is currently offering a two-night stay in the nearby Express Holiday Inn Hotel for EUR480 total for a family of 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years.

Price includes return car cruise ferry crossing plus one full day entry pass to the park. A third night stay is available for an extra EUR39 each, including a pass for Alton Towers Waterpark with its numerous interactive water features.

Bookings can be made by calling Irish Ferries at 0800 300 400
