Ferrets amongst our most favourite companions - Irish Ferries

When it comes to pets, dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets are our favourite
companions.

That’s according to Irish Ferries who have conducted an analysis of animals
carried on board their vessels since the introduction of the pet passport
scheme some years ago.

Of these, dogs are the most popular followed by cats and rabbits.
Surprisingly, ferrets get a top four ranking accounting for some six percent
of pets carried. ‘They are especially popular amongst rural passengers’ an
Irish Ferries spokesman said.
