Dublin - Bus Times

Bus service to and from the Dublin Ferryport Terminal

Dublin Port is served by bus 7 days a week. The journey time between Dublin Busarus (Central Bus Station) and Dublin Port takes about 15 minutes in normal traffic conditions. The bus service is operated by Dublin Bus - please click here for timetable.

Fares for this direct service are currently €2.50 per adult and €1.50 per child. From 1st May the fares will increase to €3 per adult to and from Connolly station/Busaras and €4 per adult to and from Heuston station. Children under 16 years will be half price. All fares are per single journey. Payment is accepted by cash or leap card. If paying by cash you must have the exact amount. Please note that Free Travel Passes cannot be used on this service. Bus fares for this service are payable to the driver on the bus before departure.

A regular public bus service also operates between the city center and Dublin Ferryport. The number 53 terminus is on Talbot street. Standard bus fares apply to this service and free travel passes may be used. Please click here for timetable and route.

Connections between Busarus and Heuston Station, where not shown, are possible by Luas light rail or local bus routes. These services are not included and are payable separately. Please note all bus times are subject to change.
