What happens when I arrive at an Irish Ferries Port? How will the staff know I am a passenger with reduced mobility?
Early arrival at the port along with self identification is very important to us. Once you have identified yourself on arrival as a passenger with reduced mobility you will be asked to turn on your vehicle hazard warning lights and follow the instructions given to you by a staff member. We will try to position your vehicle close to the lift making the transfer from the car deck to the upper passenger deck areas as seamless as possible. Due to operational constraints your vehicle may not be loaded immediately on arrival.
Irish Ferries staff receive Disability Awareness training as part of the Company’s ongoing commitment to ensure “ Transport Access for All”.
