This spacious lounge bar at the rear of the ship offers a relaxed and comfortable environment with live entertainment in peak season to suit all tastes. It’s absolutely perfect for an after dinner drink and a chance to unwind at the end of the day.
Ireland has a fine tradition of literature, drama and stage performance and the Gaiety Lounge is named after Dublin’s famous Gaiety Theatre. Oscar met his wife Constance Lloyd there while giving one of his popular lectures and many of his most famous works have been staged there.

The amazing amount of food and drink we take on board the Oscar Wilde really illustrates the scale of operations. Each year we carry approximately two hundred thousand passengers.
They consume approx. 36,000 litres of milk, 44,000 sirloin steaks, 21 tonnes of potatoes, 19 tonnes of chips, 5 tonnes of baked beans, 350,000 cups of tea & coffee, 150,000 sausages, 130,000 eggs. Passengers also enjoy 125,000 pints of beer, lager and of course Guinness.
