What you need to do before traveling to FRANCE FROM UK (incl. N. IRELAND) :
The latest travel advice from UK (including N. Ireland) to France effective from 14 January is here.
Arrivals into France from the United Kingdom (incl. Northern Ireland):
Pre-departure test: All passengers aged 12 years and older must be in possession of a negative result from either an RT-PCR or Lateral Flow Antigen COVID-19 test with certification taken within 24 hours before departure.
Sworn health declaration: all passengers must complete a sworn health declaration certifying the absence of COVID-19 symptoms or contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 and that you agree to take an antigen test that may be performed on arrival in France.
Vaccinated passengers: vaccinated passengers with proof of being fully vaccinated no longer need a compelling reason to travel to France, nor is a period of self-isolation required on arrival. The measures applying to vaccinated adults are extended to their accompanying minors/children.
Unvaccinated passengers need a compelling reason to travel to France and a form completed declaring that reason.
Negative test certificates (digital or paper format) must state: test type (PCR or Antigen), show full name and time/date of test. Self administered tests without professional certification (including NHS tests) are not considered valid for travel.
Completed forms and proof of vaccination and/or test results will be required for check-in, or boarding denied. Inspections will be conducted at border control and entry refused for non-compliance.
By law, French Authorities require passengers to wear a face mask / face covering when in French waters, when in French ports and when in a closed public area. Please have a face mask / face covering with you when travelling with us and remember that social distancing and face-covering rules are in place throughout France.
