COVID-19 test requirements depend on where you are travelling to and what the age or vaccination status of the passenger is – please check the specific COVID-19 test requirements for your route.
Where a negative COVID-19 test result is required, it needs to be a certified test and state: test type, full name, and state time/date of test - for this reason NHS tests may not be acceptable. Test results can be in a digital or paper format. Antigen tests are also often referred to as a lateral flow device (LFD) tests.
Here are some useful links on test providers :

Britain: the gov.uk site provides details on this link hereof where to find a coronavirus (COVID-19) travel test provider if you're arriving in England.
France : if you are looking for a test centre in France, you can consult the French government search tool on Santé.fr (available in French only - use the department postcode to search in a particular area e.g. Cherbourg is 50100, Calais is 62100).
