We are running a special Wine Tasting on-board the W.B. Yeats on our cruise from Dublin to Cherbourg on Thursday May 23rd. The Wine Tasting is in conjuction with the Wine & Beer Supermarket who have recently opened a new store just outside Cherbourg.

During the cruise English speaking wine growers will give talks and tastings so that passengers can preview some of the wines that can be bought ashore in Cherbourg at discounted prices.

In Cherbourg, the Wine & Beer Supermarket will be delighted to welcome you to their new store close to the port, where you can avail of special discounts for Irish Ferries customers on your purchases, including those wines tasted on-board.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Access to the wine tasting is for customers booking a short break next day return fare departing Dublin on Thursday May 23rd, and returning from Cherbourg on Friday May 24th. Up to 6 hours ashore for shopping and local touring.
  • Fares are based on 2 passengers travelling together, on a return journey: as foot passengers – from €99 per person return, including 2 bed inner cabin: with a car – from €164 per person return including 2 bed inner cabin and car.
  • Fares are subject to availability. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Terms & Conditions apply.
  • Irish Ferries are responsible for the travel element of this mini-cruise, and cannot take responsibility for arrangements made with the wine retailers / growers onboard.

A public bus service operates from the terminal building to the main bus station in Dublin City Centre.
