Terms & Conditions of booking and travel apply. Fares valid for travel on 25th April or 16th May from Dublin on W.B. Yeats. €349 fare based on Car +2 + inner cabin travelling together. Promotional and Sale fares may attract special terms & conditions for amendments / cancellations. Irish Ferries reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. Fares are subject to availability. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Charges, administrative dues and all fees are fixed amounts and are excluded from discounts and promotional offers. In the event that the outward leg is not travelled Irish Ferries reserve the right to cancel the entire booking applying the appropriate cancellation fees.

25th April Wine Tasting Event

The producers and wines that will be showcased for on-board wine tasting sailing to France:

  • 1. Chris Bullimore: from Wine Beer Supermarket, featuring a wide range of South African wines from Darling Cellars and Piekenieskloof wineries highlighting the quality and diversity of wines from the Western cape.
  • 2. Valentin and Luc Bertrand: presenting Chateau la Grave from the Minervois region of Languedoc-Roussillon, a range of refreshing rosés from the Estandon cooperative, and Domaine Charles Pain, one of the best estates in Chinon, Loire Valley.
  • 3. Niicolas Lugon: focusing on Domaines Paul Mas, one of the most influential owner/growers in the south of France, with estates from Perpignan to Nîmes via Carcassonne and Montpellier.
  • 4. Vincent Fabre: representing Vignobles Fabre en Medoc , with a lovely range of sumptuous reds from Medoc, Haut-Médoc and Margaux, family owned and brimming with winemaking skill.
  • 5. Eric Monnin: showcasing a range of great value wines from France, Europe and the New World from Maison Boutinot.

Taste of Normandy

  • Valerie Joannon and Wesseline Hartout from Taste of Normandy will be on board offering food and drink from the Normandy region of France including cider, calvados and cheese.

16th May Wine Tasting Event

A great selection of producers and wines that will be showcased for our on-board wine tasting sailing to France:

  • 1. Chris Bullimore: from Wine Beer supermarket, showcasing some personal favourites from WBS wine estates throughout France and its diverse regions.
  • 2. Jules Thiollet: representing Vignobles Jean-Michel Cazes, the owners of the prestigious property Château Lunch-Bages also market the popular Michel Lynch brand, sourced from sustainable vineyards in and around the Bordeaux, Médoc and Graves regions as well as their prestigious Ostal Cazes estate in the south of France.
  • 3. Sylvain Rozier: from the Burgundy region, sources brilliant value wines from small family and independent estates, and will present wines from Burgundy, Beaujolais and the Mâcon regions.
  • 4. François Ozouf: François will feature wines from Michel Chapoutier including France, Spain and Portugal, as well as wines from the small Menetou-Salon appellation in the Loire Valley.
  • 5. Karin Nylund: Karin lives in Valencia and is an expert on the Spanish wine industry. She represents AW Wines Spain, and will include great value classic Riojas from Crianza to Reserva.

  • Access to the wine tasting is for customers departing Dublin on 25th April or 16th May.
  • Fare based on 2 adults staying in a 2 bed inner cabin travelling together with their car.

It’s also positioned at the heart of Ireland’s road and rail network. Dublin Port Tunnel is situated within the port complex & provides quick access to the M50 & M1 motorways, the main routes to the North and South of the country.

A public bus service operates from the terminal building to the main bus station in Dublin City Centre.

Cherbourg

Cherbourg is situated at the Northern tip of the Cherbourg Peninsula and provides an excellent gateway for travel by road to and from the North and East of France, Paris, and onwards to Holland, Belgium and Germany.

The city's railway station is at the end of the line from Paris and regular services operate to and from Paris-Saint-Lazare via Cae
