Cancellation fees
Ireland France Routes - Motorist bookings
- Cancellations up to 42 days before travel - loss of €100
- Cancellations between 41 to 21 days before travel - loss of 50% of total fare, minimum charge €100, with the balance refunded in the form of an Irish Ferries credit.
- Cancellations within 20 days of travel - 100% cancellation charge with no refund.
Ireland France Routes - Foot-passenger bookings
- 100% cancellation charge - no refund
Ireland / Great Britain Routes - Motorist bookings
- Cancellations up to 42 days before travel - loss of 25% of total fare with a 75% refund in the form of an Irish Ferries credit
- Cancellations between 41 to 21 days before travel - loss of 50% of total fare with a 50% refund in the form of an Irish Ferries credit
- Cancellations within 20 days of travel - 100% cancellation charge with no refund
Ireland /Great Britain Routes - Foot-passenger bookings
- 100% cancellation charge - no refund. This also applies to Sail/Rail bookings
Ireland /Great Britain Routes - Next Day Return Motorist
- 100% cancellation charge - no refund
Flexibility Option
Our Flexibility Option allows you to avail of reduced cancellation fees
Flexibility Option must be purchased at the time of the booking date and is non refundable in the event of cancellation.
Fares with Flexibility Option Cancellation Terms & Conditions:
Ireland – France & Irish Sea Routes – Motorist / Foot Passenger Bookings
- Up to 42 days before travel - 100% less flexibility option and administrative dues/service fees refunded to card used for booking
- 41 – 21 days before travel - 75% less flexibility option and administrative dues/service fees refunded to card used for booking.
- 20 – 4 days before travel - 25% less flexibility option and administrative dues/service fees refunded to card used for booking.
- 0 – 3 days before travel - 10% less flexibility option and administrative dues/service fees refunded to card used for booking.
- Customers with Flexibility Option can also opt for a refund in the form of an Irish Ferries travel credit. If selecting this option, there will be no deduction made for the Administrative dues/service fees.
Short Break and Next Day Return bookings, along with Landbridge bookings have fare specific Terms & Conditions. Please contact us for further advice.
Notes
- Cancellation rules apply to any outstanding balances.
- If travel dates are amended and the booking is then subsequently cancelled the cancellation fee is based on the original date of outward travel.
- With the exception of bookings with Flexibility Option, any refund due will be by Irish Ferries travel credit valid to the end of the following calendar year.
- Promotional and sale fares may attract special terms and conditions relating to amendment and cancellation charges which will be listed on the relevant fare pages over the course of the offer booking period.
