ITTN Awards - Best Ferry Company 2024

Irish Ferries was once again awarded with 'Best Ferry Company' for 2024 at an industry event in Dublin on Friday evening.
This award is voted for by the travel agents of Ireland, North and South, and adds an Irish award to the already announced UK Group Leisure & Travel Award for 'Best Ferry or Fixed Link Operator’ for 2024.

Irish Ferries, has been awarded the title of ‘Best Ferry or Fixed Linked Operator’ for the sixth consecutive year at the UK Group Leisure and Travel Awards 2024.

Irish Ferries celebrates 'Best Ferry' title 2024

The Irish Travel Industry Awards ceremony took place in Dublin recently. Irish Ferries are delighted to have won the Best Ferry Company Award 2024 making it a wonderful twelve awards in a row – This year's success is especially meaningful, considering the changes in the voting structure and increased competition from competitors like Brittany Ferries and Stena Line. 

W.B. Yeats Wins International Shipping Award

Irish Ferries has triumphed at a major international shipping awards ceremony, taking home both the Ferry Concept Award and the Interior Architecture Award for their recently launched cruise-ferry, the W.B. Yeats.

Irish Ferries’ W.B. Yeats has received the ‘Ferry of the Year 2019’ award at the annual Ferry Shipping Summit. W.B. Yeats, was recognised for its “striking exterior and timeless interior design.

Innovation Excellence Award

Irish Ferries Freight won a new prestigious award at Export & Freight (Ireland’s Transport Magazine) Transport and Logistics Industry Awards 2016.
The Innovation Excellence Award was aimed at companies within the sector who have invested in innovative solutions to make their operations more efficient, profitable and successful. It was open to any type of innovation from the latest equipment and facilities to cutting edge technology or environmental solutions. Competition was strong on the night, but the independent judges favoured Irish Ferries Freight’s complete new concept and radical design of the website and, in particular, the online booking system where state-of-the-art technology was designed to deliver exceptional user experience.

National Coach Tourism Awards

Irish Ferries has been declared best Cross-Sea Carrier in the prestigious National Coach Tourism Awards at the 10th annual ceremony.

The awards are the only national scheme to specifically focus on coach tourism.

In winning the award, Irish Ferries was judged to be the most coach-friendly ferry company, providing reliable services between the UK and Ireland and offering special arrangements for groups travelling by coach, especially on the line’s flagship Ulysses.

International Marketing Award 2011

Irish Ferries has added to its tally of top awards by winning the prestigious International Marketing Award at the All Ireland Marketing Awards.

In their citation, the jury praised Irish Ferries for the messaging of the campaign which, they said, 'reflected a distinctly Irish heritage in a modern environment.' In terms of its impact, the jury noted that their marketing campaign helped Irish Ferries to reverse the trend in a declining travel market in 2010.
