10th October Wine Tasting Event

The producers and wines that will be showcased for on-board wine tasting sailing to France:

  • 1. Withwine Bordeaux: a specialist Bordeaux négociant with a wide range including Blaye, Bourg, Margaux, Saint-Emilion and Haut-Médoc.
  • 2. Vignobles Chaigne: an independent producer of bio wines with its popular Bordeaux estates offering both red and white wines from the Entre-Deux-Mers and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations..
  • 3. Château de Marjolet: A fantastic estate in the southern Rhône region with a great range of red, white and rosé wines to enjoy.
  • 4. Château la Grave: One of the most popular Languedoc appellations from Minervois, not far from the old walled city of Carcassonne.
  • 5. Domaine Charles Pain: from the Chinon appellation, with delicious reds and whites featuring the the Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc grapes.
  • 6. Fabre family estates: great value organic wines from a ‘vigneron’ family with five wine estates dotted around the Corbières region between Carcassonne and Narbonne in the south of France

Cherbourg

Cherbourg is situated at the Northern tip of the Cherbourg Peninsula and provides an excellent gateway for travel by road to and from the North and East of France, Paris, and onwards to Holland, Belgium and Germany.

The city's railway station is at the end of the line from Paris and regular services operate to and from Paris-Saint-Lazare via Cae
