21st May Wine Tasting Event

Wine Beer Supermarket, a leading wine warehouse in Cherbourg will be hosting the last of our Spring/Summer wine tasting events before high season, departing from Dublin Port on Thursday 21st May.

Here is a flavour of the wines and regions you will be able to taste on board as you set sail to la belle France…

  • David Monnier from WithWine Bordeaux showcasing a wide range of estate produced reds from the many and varied appellations of this renowned region.
  • Victor Bertrand will be sampling the exclusive and great value Olivier Lacour IGP Pays d’Oc range of single vineyard varietals grown between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, in the sun-kissed south of France, and encompassing Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc as well as a red and white Reserve range.
  • Maeva Bompy presenting Maison Boutinot Wines with a selection of interesting well-made wines from around the world including France, Europe and the New World.
  • Matisse Rozier of Rozier Père et Fils will be presenting some of the best of Burgundy from the Côtes de Nuits, Beaune and down as far as the vineyards of Mâcon and Beaujolais.
  • Maxime Watremez sampling Famille Fabre organic wine estates and a choice of whites, rosés and spicy reds from this ‘vigneron’ family with five wine Languedoc estates dotted around the Corbières region between Carcassonne and Narbonne in the south of France.
  • Chris Bullimore of the Wine & Beer Supermarket will be showcasing a selection of the most popular WBS estate wines from the Loire and Rhône Valleys and the South of France.
