Irish Ferries had reason to celebrate after making history at the 25th Silver Jubilee Irish Travel Trade News Awards.
For the 10th year in succession and 19th time overall, the company was voted Ireland’s ‘Best Ferry Company’ at the 2016 gala ceremony held in Dublin recently.
The latest success brings to three, the number of ‘Best Ferry Company’ titles currently held by Irish Ferries having also been awarded the top honour at the 2016 Irish Travel Industry Awards and 2016 Travel Media Awards.

Group Leisure Magazine Awards
Irish Ferries has been voted Best Ferry Operator by readers of Group Leisure Magazine.
Voted for by readers of the UK’s Group Leisure Magazine, the award reflects Irish Ferries’ popularity within the coach and group market

Innovation Excellence Award
Irish Ferries Freight won a new prestigious award at Export & Freight (Ireland’s Transport Magazine) Transport and Logistics Industry Awards 2016.
The Innovation Excellence Award was aimed at companies within the sector who have invested in innovative solutions to make their operations more efficient, profitable and successful. It was open to any type of innovation from the latest equipment and facilities to cutting edge technology or environmental solutions. Competition was strong on the night, but the independent judges favoured Irish Ferries Freight’s complete new concept and radical design of the website and, in particular, the online booking system where state-of-the-art technology was designed to deliver exceptional user experience.

Irish Travel Industry Awards 2016
Irish Ferries have won the Best Ferry Company Award 2016 at the Annual Irish Travel Industry awards – for the sixth year in a row. The event is now in its sixth year and is organised by The Irish Travel Agents Association. Votes were cast by travel agents and their staff across Ireland.
This follows closely on from Irish Ferries winning the "Best Ferry Company" category at the Irish Travel Trade Awards in December 2015.
