Peak Season Holidays in Ireland from £899 with Irish Ferries

26 juin 2018

Pack the kids, the buckets and spades and all the bags you can cram into the car, then sail away with Irish Ferries Holidays to a fabulous family holiday from as little as £899 in total.

That’s for a seven-night stay in a coastal holiday cottage in August, and includes return ferry travel for the car, two adults and up to three kids under 16.

Seacliff holiday cottages are set on the cliff top at Dunmore East in County Waterford, beside the golf club and 650 metres from the sandy cove of Counsellors Strand. Dunmore East was the pretty backdrop to BBC One’s ‘Redwater’ last year. Each modern holiday home offers open-plan living, an ensuite double, a twin and a single room to sleep five, and there’s an onsite playground.

Seacliff is 90 minutes’ drive from Irish Ferries’ port at Rosslare, using the charming ferry to the River Suir. There are beaches, boat trips and great sightseeing, with Viking Waterford within half an hour’s drive, and Hook Lighthouse across the bay.

A week at Seacliff starting 18 or 25 August is only £899; weeks starting 21 or 28 July, 4, 11 and 18 August are £985 – including cruise ferry travel.

In the south-west, five hours’ drive from Irish Ferries’ port in Dublin, and about the same drive time from Rosslare, is the colourful seaside town of Waterville in County Kerry on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Irish Ferries’ featured holiday cottages are only 750 yards from the sea, with traditional pubs, watersports, golf and boat trips all on the doorstep. Waterville holiday cottages have four bedrooms for flexibility, and the family pooch (if it has a Pet Passport) is welcome too.

A week at Waterville starting 18 or 25 August is only £1,046; weeks starting 21 or 28 July, 4, 11 and 18 August are £1,118 – including cruise ferry travel.
