'Best Ferry Operator’ at the Group Leisure & Travel Awards 2017
Irish Ferries has once again been voted ‘Best Ferry or Fixed Link Operator’ at the Group Leisure & Travel Awards 2017 held in Birmingham last night.
Speaking at the ceremony, Marie McCarthy, Irish Ferries’ dedicated Coach and Groups Manager, said: “We are delighted to have won this award for a second year running and would like to thank Group Leisure readers who voted for us, we are all genuinely thrilled.
Irish Travel Industry Awards 2017
Irish Ferries have won the Best Ferry Company Award 2017 at the Annual Irish Travel Industry awards – for the seventh year in a row. The event is now in its seventh year and is organised by The Irish Travel Agents Association. Votes were cast by travel agents and their staff across Ireland.

ITTN Awards 2016
Irish Ferries had reason to celebrate after making history at the 25th Silver Jubilee Irish Travel Trade News Awards.
For the 10th year in succession and 19th time overall, the company was voted Ireland’s ‘Best Ferry Company’ at the 2016 gala ceremony held in Dublin recently.
The latest success brings to three, the number of ‘Best Ferry Company’ titles currently held by Irish Ferries having also been awarded the top honour at the 2016 Irish Travel Industry Awards and 2016 Travel Media Awards.

Innovation Excellence Award
Irish Ferries Freight won a new prestigious award at Export & Freight (Ireland’s Transport Magazine) Transport and Logistics Industry Awards 2016.
The Innovation Excellence Award was aimed at companies within the sector who have invested in innovative solutions to make their operations more efficient, profitable and successful. It was open to any type of innovation from the latest equipment and facilities to cutting edge technology or environmental solutions. Competition was strong on the night, but the independent judges favoured Irish Ferries Freight’s complete new concept and radical design of the website and, in particular, the online booking system where state-of-the-art technology was designed to deliver exceptional user experience.

National Coach Tourism Awards
Irish Ferries has been declared best Cross-Sea Carrier in the prestigious National Coach Tourism Awards at the 10th annual ceremony.
The awards are the only national scheme to specifically focus on coach tourism.
In winning the award, Irish Ferries was judged to be the most coach-friendly ferry company, providing reliable services between the UK and Ireland and offering special arrangements for groups travelling by coach, especially on the line’s flagship Ulysses.

International Marketing Award 2011
Irish Ferries has added to its tally of top awards by winning the prestigious International Marketing Award at the All Ireland Marketing Awards.
In their citation, the jury praised Irish Ferries for the messaging of the campaign which, they said, 'reflected a distinctly Irish heritage in a modern environment.' In terms of its impact, the jury noted that their marketing campaign helped Irish Ferries to reverse the trend in a declining travel market in 2010.
