In the event that your sailing is disrupted, we may be able to offer the following options:

Transfer to another Irish Ferries sailing

What you need to know:

• You will be advised by Irish Ferries about the availability / timing of a transfer to an alternative Irish Ferries sailing on the Irish Sea route
• In the event of a cancellation, we are required to ensure you reach your destination with minimum delay and will therefore always propose the earliest possible alternative sailings where available.

For bookings made by a third party/agent, please contact them directly to process any changes.

Transfer to Alternative Operator

(subject to availability)

What you need to know:

• Transfer to alternative operators (Stena Line on the Rosslare - Fishguard route) is subject to availability of space and suitable alternative crossings:
  • At peak times, there may be no space available due to being fully booked
• In the event of a cancellation, we are required to ensure you reach your destination with minimum delay and will therefore will always propose the earliest possible alternative crossing where available.

Cancellation & Full Refund

What you need to know

• If you do not wish to continue with your travel, or wish to make your own travel plans, we can cancel your booking and process a full refund.
• For bookings made directly with Irish Ferries, this will be processed to the card used to make the booking
• For bookings made via a third party/agent, this refund will need to be processed by them

If you wish to opt for a Cancellation and Refund of a booking made directly with Irish Ferries, please email CancellationRequest@irishferries.com stating

1. Your booking reference
2. Lead passenger name

Your refund will be processed within 5 working days, and no further action is required by you.

For bookings made by a third party/agent, please contact them directly to process your cancellation.
