How do I exchange my Clubcard Voucher codes for an Irish Ferries Reward Partner code?

You must exchange your Clubcard Voucher codes for an Irish Ferries Reward Partner code before you make your ferry booking.

Republic of Ireland residents – Tesco Clubcard Rewards:

  • 1. Click here , which will direct you to the Tesco website where you will be able to order the amount required.
  • 2. Tesco will issue you with a Reward Partner code which can be used immediately online. When you enter the Reward Partner code, the value will be applied automatically for you.
  • 3. Customers can book online up to 24 hours prior to travel with their Reward Partner code.
  • 4. Bookings are currently not accepted through our contact centres and can be processed online only.

Q:UK residents including Northern Ireland – Tesco Rewards:

  • 1. Click here , which will direct you to the Tesco website where you will be able to order the amount required.
  • 2. Choose how much in your Reward Partner code that you wish to exchange on the right, and then click 'add to basket'. Any change from your code will be credited to your Clubcard Account.
  • 3. Tesco will issue you with a Reward Partner code which can be used immediately online. When you enter the Reward Partner code, the value will be applied automatically for you.
  • 4. Customers can book online up to 24 hours prior to travel with their Reward Partner code.
  • 5. Bookings are currently not accepted through our contact centres and can be processed online only.
How do I make my booking using my Reward Partner Code?

If you choose to use your Reward Partner code as a method of payment, we will be happy to accept them against your booking.

The code may be used as full or part payment against your booking (motorist, motorcycle, Campervan /Motorhome) on all our routes – Irish Sea, Ireland to France, England to France.

There is one Tesco code per booking. All bookings using a Reward Partner code must be made online.

Please note that the codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or special offers.

During the booking process please select the Reward Partner code currency (euro or sterling) that you would prefer as a method of payment. You will then be requested to enter your Reward Partner code.

When using the Reward Partner code, please know that it is a 1 for 1 exchange i.e., £1 = €1.

For an Ireland to France booking, please know that when you go to book online, you must pay your deposit via debit / credit card. Your Reward Partner code cannot be used for your booking deposit.

For an Ireland to France booking, any balance outstanding after using your Reward Partner code, needs to be paid in full at the time of booking.

Please note that the maximum value of Reward Partner codes that can be used on the Dover-Calais route is €170/£150 for a return journey or €85/£75 for a single journey.

When using your £ Sterling Reward Partner code on a Euro booking, the value will be applied at a rate of £1 = €1. There will be no credit or refund of any overpayment.

Can I make my booking before I apply for my Reward Partner Code from Tesco?

No, you must apply to Tesco first for your Reward Partner code as we need to know the value to be applied to your booking – this ensures that you pay the correct balance with your credit/debit card. Customers can book online up to 24 hours prior to travel with their Reward Partner code.

Can I use my Reward Partner Code to buy Cabins or upgrade to Club Class?

Yes you can, but they must be booked in advance when you are making your Tesco motorist booking. Your Reward Partner code is not valid for purchases made on board our ships or at our ports.

Can I use my Reward Partner Code to purchase the Flexibility Option?

Yes you can – this can be added to your booking at Step 3 of the online process.

Are there any ticket types that I won’t be able to pay for with my Reward Partner Code?

Your Tesco Reward Partner code is not valid as full or part payment for the following products; Landbridge, SailRail, UK minicruise bookings, hotel breaks, self-catering breaks, foot passenger fares, day trips or freight bookings.

Can I book special offer or promotional fares and pay with my Reward Partner Code?

Your Reward Partner Code is valid against our online fares, however this is a special fare promotion with restricted availability and Tesco travel tokens may not be used on selected peak sailings or in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Bookings made using your Reward Partner Code have their own specific Terms & Conditions and any amount that is paid with your Tesco token will not be eligible for loyalty points.

Please note that the maximum value of vouchers that can be used on the  Dover/Calais route is £150/€170 for a return journey or £75/€85 for a single journey.

Is my booking eligible for the Irish Ferries Loyalty Scheme?

Any amount that is paid with a Tesco Reward Partner code will not be eligible for loyalty points, however any amount paid by card will be included.

Can I cancel my Tesco booking?

Yes, you can cancel your Tesco booking. Please note that if you cancel your booking, the Reward Partner code value on the booking is non-refundable and a travel credit, subject to the terms and conditions of the fare purchased (economy or flexibility fare), may be given. A card payment made on the booking may be, subject to the terms and conditions of the fare purchased (economy or flexibility fare), refunded.

How do I use my Sterling Reward Partner Code on the Ireland/France routes?

It is possible to make a booking for our Ireland/France and France/Britain services when using your Sterling Reward Partner code.

To confirm your booking online, we need to receive full payment by Reward Partner code or a combination of your Reward Partner code & Credit/Debit card.

During the booking process, your Reward Partner code will be applied at a rate of £1 = €1. Please note that there will be no credit or refund of any overpayment.

Can I amend my Tesco booking?

Your booking can be amended online in advance of your outward date. Additional charges may be payable due to any difference in fare and / or amendment fee (depending on fare purchased i.e., economy or flexibility fare), and this may be paid by debit/credit card at the time of the amendment. Please know that if the fare on the new departure is lower, than your previous fare, no refund of the fare difference applies.

What happens if my sailing is cancelled by Irish Ferries due to weather or technical reasons and I don’t want to accept the alternative sailing offered?

You will receive a full refund. Refunds are by the method of payment so any element paid for by Tesco Reward Partner code will be refunded by Irish Ferries travel voucher.

Can I use my friends/families Tesco Reward Partner Codes with my own?

No, your Reward Partner code is applicable to you alone and are not transferable.

Can I book online for France using my Reward Partner Code and pay a deposit?

When booking online with your Reward Partner code for our France routes, we need to receive full payment either with the code or by a combination of the code and a credit/debit card payment.
