Sail on Isle of Inisheer
Irish Ferries has a long and proud heritage of carrying passengers in comfort across the seas, connecting Ireland to Britain, Ireland to France and now Britain to the Continent. The Isle of Inisheer crosses the English channel along with it’s sister ships, Isle of Inishmore and Isle of Innisfree, providing a comprehensive service connecting Dover to Calais and vice versa.
We also have a tradition of extending a warm welcome and our sense of Irish hospitality and heritage to all our passengers. As well as naming our ships after famous Irish literary writers and their works including W.B. Yeats with the W.B. Yeats, James Joyce with the Ulysses and Jonathan Swift with Dublin Swift, our fast ferry. The 3 ships now operating on Dover to Calais for Irish Ferries also have literary connections in their names, as well as echoing the famous Aran Islands, located off the very west coast of Ireland.
