15th May Wine Tasting Event

For the wine tasting experience on Thursday 15th May, once again Wine & Beer Supermarket, a leading wine warehouse in Cherbourg, will be hosting and featuring a range of producers and houses for tasting:

  • 1. Maison Boutinot Wines: A wide range of interesting well-made wines from around the world including France, Italy, New Zealand, California and Argentina
  • 2. Vignobles Paul Mas: the foremost group of family estates in the heart of the sunny Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France under the auspices of visionary winemaker Jean-Claude Mas including the Arrogant Frog range, Terrasses de Larzac, 1892 Organic range and single varietal reds and whites.
  • 3. Famille Fabre organic wine estates: whites, rosés and spicy reds from this ‘vigneron’ family with five wine estates dotted around the Corbières region between Carcassonne and Narbonne in the south of France
  • 4. Loire Valley Vineyards: stretching along the length of the majestic Loire river, the vineyards of the Loire valley form the longest wine route in France. The tasting will showcase a wide-ranging selection of reds and whites from Chinon, Bourgueil, St. Nicolas de Bourgueil, Reuilly and Quincy.
  • 5. Maison Michel Chapoutier: best known for wines from the Rhône Valley, there will be a red and white Côtes du Rhône and Rasteau to try, plus the popular Côtes du Roussillon Bila Haut red and gorgeous Iberian reds from the Douro and Ribera del Duero regions.
  • 6. Olivier Lacour IGP Pays d’Oc: unique to WBS this popular label offers unbeatable value IGP Pays d’Oc varietal wines grown between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, in the sun-kissed south of France, and encompassing Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc as well as a red and white Reserve range.
